We’re getting in touch to let you know that from November 27th, we are changing our processor for Direct Debit payments. Our new processor, GoCardless, will be responsible for all Direct Debit collections from this date. You can read their privacy notice at gocardless.com/privacy.

There’s no action required from you to continue paying by Direct Debit, and the change will not affect the service you receive in any way. It will still be ‘McQueens Dairies’ which appears on your bank statement, and all your payments will continue to be fully protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee, as detailed below.

You may see 2 Direct Debits with McQueens Dairies setup on your bank account for a few days.  This is temporary whilst we migrate you to our new system. Your old direct debit will be removed automatically, so no action is needed from yourself.

  • This Guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that accept instructions to pay Direct Debits
  • If there are any changes to the amount, date or frequency of your Direct Debit GC RE McQueens Dairies will notify you 3 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed. If you request GC RE McQueens Dairies to collect a payment, confirmation of the amount and date will be given to you at the time of the request
  • If an error is made in the payment of your Direct Debit, by GC RE McQueens Dairies or your bank or building society, you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of the amount paid from your bank or building society
  • If you receive a refund you are not entitled to, you must pay it back when GC RE McQueens Dairies asks you to
  • You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by simply contacting your bank or building society. Written confirmation may be required. Please also notify us.


Do I need to do anything? 
No, you don’t need to do anything- yay! Your bank might let you know that a direct debit has been setup from McQueens. Rest assured that the old one will be removed shortly after automatically. 
Will I get billed at a different time?
We have no plans to change when you will be billed. This will continue to be weekly, in arrears, every Wednesday for most customers. Those on other payment plans will also not be affected.
I deleted a direct debit that was setup, what now?
Not to stress! Please get in touch with our team on 0330 555 5588 who will be able to rectify any changes and ensured you’re billed correctly.
