Can I get fresh cream delivered every week?
Yes. Add fresh cream to your order and we’ll deliver it to your doorstep every week, usually by 7am. Delivery is free, there’s no minimum order and you can pause or cancel any time. Choose from single or double cream delivery today.
What’s the difference between single and double cream?
It comes down to fat content. McQueen’s single cream has a lower fat content of 18% (18 ml per 100ml), so it’s lighter and pours easily. Whereas our double cream has a higher fat content of 50.5% (50.5ml per 100ml), which makes it rich and thick. Use single cream for pouring over desserts and into coffee, and double cream for whipping, spooning and rich sauces!
Which cream should I use for cooking?
Double cream is the more versatile choice for cooking. Its higher fat content means it can be simmered in sauces, soups and curries without splitting. Single cream is better stirred in at the end, off the heat, to add a little richness without it curdling.
How should I store cream after delivery?
Put it in the fridge as soon as it arrives and keep it chilled until you use it. Check the use by date on the pot and don’t use past this. Always keep the lid on, so it doesn’t pick up other flavours from your fridge and for premium freshness.
Can I change or pause my regular cream order?
Yes, any time. Log in to your customer portal to change quantities, move your delivery dates or pause. It’s handy if you only need cream for the occasional bake or dinner party. There’s no commitment.
